Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The government of Ukraine has prolonged for another three years the assignment of a 50% plus one share stake in OJSC Hartron (Kharkiv) to the state. This was stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 885 of July 29. According to the State Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, as of early July 2009, apart from the State Property Fund, among the company's major shareholders were CJSC Hartron Incorporated (14.07%) and Hartron-Askond Ltd. (15.81%). OJSC Hartron is the only enterprise in Ukraine creating control systems for rocket and space complexes. The company also makes automatic control and safety systems for nuclear power stations. According to the company's financial report, in January to June 2009 its net profit totaled UAH 720,000, which was 71.4% up compared to 2008, and its net sales income grew by three times, to UAH 1.984 million. The 50% plus one share stake in Hartron was assigned by the government to the state for three years in June 2006. The statutory capital of the company is UAH 21.368 million, its share face value is UAH 0.25. | |
