Kyiv, July 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Eurocar, as part of the realization of a project to produce Volkswagen Group cars in Ukraine, has attracted a EUR 52.4 million credit from WestLB AG (Germany) for 12 years with a two-year grace period, according to the Eurocar's press service.

The funds will be directed to acquire equipment for painting and welding lines being created on the basis of CJSC Eurocar (Solomonovo, Zakarpattia region).

The equipment will be supplied by three European companies. In particular, Eisenmann Anlagenbau GmbH & Co KG (Germany) will supply equipment for the painting complex, Chropynska strojirna a.s. (the Czech Republic) will provide the welding workshop with equipment, and the welding line will be equipped with transport systems made by Transsystem (Poland).

Eurocar has been operating since December 2001. The company is part of Atoll Holding Group, one of the leading car market players in Ukraine.
