EU BLACK SEA PROGRAM INVESTMENT PROJECTS TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN CRIMEA

Kyiv, July 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers Viktor Plakida and REMONDIS International director Ralph Goldman have discussed the prospects for the implementation of investment projects under the EU-funded Black Sea program in Crimea.

The Crimean Council of Ministers is to consider the company's proposals and to start the implementation of a number of projects in the districts of the autonomous republic, the Crimean government's press service reported.

According to Plakida, a number of investment projects were presented in July in Brussels.

Since 2007, REMONDIS International has been participating in the implementation of the Black Sea program in Donbas (Donetsk, Horlivka and Artemivsk) and Zaporizhia. The company is ready to start implementing of a number of projects in Crimea.

The Black Sea project is focused on the improvement of regional co-operation and improvement of the Convention on the Protection of the Black Sea Against Pollution.
