Kyiv, August 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – National JSC Energy Company of Ukraine, after the transfer of stakes in regional electricity supply companies to the State Property Fund of Ukraine under the implementation of a cabinet resolution, will remain a minority shareholder in ten regional electricity supply companies with stakes varying from 5% to 15%.

According to cabinet resolution No. 894 of July 29, 2009 published on Monday, the fund is to receive controlling stakes of 60% plus one share in 12 regional electricity supply companies (for Zaporizhiaoblenergo it would be 60.25% and for Luhanskoblenergo it would be 60.06%).

A 51% stake in Ternopiloblenergo, a 50% plus one share stake in Kyivenergo and a 46% stake in Cherkasyoblenergo would be transferred to the fund.

Energy Company would retain a 15% minus one share stake in Vinnytsiaoblenergo, Volynoblenergo, Dniprooblenergo and Zakarpattiaoblenergo, a 10.01% minus one share stake in Khmelnytskoblenergo, 10% minus one share in Krymenergo, Mykolaivoblenergo and Chernivtsioblenergo, a 5.06% minus one share stake in Donetskoblenergo and 5% minus one share stake in Kharkivoblenergo.
