Kyiv, July 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv-based Ekobud Ltd. in January to June 2009 saw its net profit plunge by 99.3% compared to a year ago, to UAH 36,000, the company has reported at the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market.

The company said that its net income from sale in the six months ending June 2009 had fallen by 85.7%, to UAH 9.515 million.

Taking into account earlier published data, the company's net profit in April to June 2009 shrank by 97% year-over-year, to UAH 11,000, and its net income from sales plunged by 86.4%, to UAH 8.823 million.

The company earned a UAH 4.88 million net profit in 2008, while its net losses in 2007 came to UAH 5.64 million. Its net income from sales grew by 57.1%, to UAH 84.22 million.

Ekobud Ltd. was established in 2001. The company designs construction projects and builds houses in Kyiv city, Kyiv region and Sumy.

The company's statutory fund is UAH 5 million.
