Kyiv, August 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine's Economy Ministry suggests introducing the obligatory declaration of sugar ending stocks by the owners.

A corresponding draft bill has been posted on the ministry's official Web site.

According to the document, information about sugar owners is confidential, and sugar ending stocks declarations will not be made public.

The lack of accurate information about sugar stocks is one of the causes of the unstable price situation on the sugar market, it does not allow the government to take the necessary decisions promptly and leads to speculation, reads an explanatory note to the law.
