Kyiv, July 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Experts of the European Commission have started the audit at the National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and verification of the technical performances of the country's underground gas storage facilities, the national gas company's press center reported on Thursday.

The European Commission informed Naftogaz Ukrainy's management at a meeting on July 30 that the aim of the mission is to verify the data submitted by the national gas company to the EU. These are the volume of the natural gas stored at Ukraine's underground gas depots, the process of natural gas' pumping in and out of the storages, and the level of operating pressure in the gas transportation system.
