Kyiv, July 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) –The average price of land plots in Kyiv and its suburbs in January to June 2009 fell by 17.4%, to $9,347 per 100 square meters, while the fall from June 2008 came to 25.6%, a press release of the Stolychna Nerukhomist (Capital Real Estate) information and analytical portal says. The data was received after the analysis of 1,771 farming, industrial, recreation and individual land plots and land plots for commercial and housing construction on the Kyiv city and Kyiv region markets by experts of the portal – Blahovest and Park Lane real estate agencies. The experts said that the largest number of land plots put up for sale in Kyiv (24% of total supply), were in Kyiv-Svyatoshyne (22%), Obukhiv (13%) and Boryspil (13%) districts. The highest price of 100 square meters was registered in Kyiv ($76,745) and in Obukhiv region ($16,178). The lowest price per100 square meters was seen in Makarove ($2,716) and Kaharlyk ($3,117) districts.
