Kyiv, August 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The average price of one square meter at private houses in Kyiv region with land plots, not taking into account houses in estates, in July 2009 went down by 0.29%, to $897 per square meter. According to a press release of Kyiv-based SV Development consulting company, the average price of private houses in Kyiv region in July was of $73,500. The company said the changes in housing prices are based on real sale and purchase deals. The company said that the fall of the prices of estates was registered in all of the region's districts, apart from Obukhiv, Kyiv-Svyatoshyne, Brovary and Borodianka districts, where the prices grew. The largest rise in the price of one square meter was registered in Borodianka District at 0.65%, where the average price of one square meter was $848. The minimum rise in the price of one square meter was registered in Obukhiv District at 0.23%, where the average price of one square meter was $1,353. The maximum fall in the price of one square meter was registered in Boryspil District at 1.36%, where the average price of one square meter was $1,207. The minimum fall in the price of one square meter was registered in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky District at 0.47%, where the average price of one square meter was $356. According to the company, prices for private housing in Kyiv for the period fell by 0.88%, and the average price per one square meter here was $1,203. The average price of a house was $104,603. SV Development said that the largest share of houses for sale over the period under review was seen in the Kyiv-Svyatoshyne (24% of the total supply), and the lowest in the Makarove and Fastiv districts (2% in each). SV Development has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2005.
