Kyiv, July 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Amstor Ltd. (Donetsk), part of the eponymous sales and construction group, in January to June 2009 saw a net profit of UAH 32.91 million, which was 3.9 times up on the 2008 indicator, according to the company.

The company's net sales income in the period grew by 90.7%, to UAH 315.576 million, while its total profit rose by 2.3 times, to UAH 161.383 million.

Taking into account data on the first quarter of 2009 reported earlier, the net profit of Amstor in the second quarter of 2009 was UAH 4.629 million against a net loss of UAH 17.119 million in 2008.

The company's net sales income in April-June 2009 was UAH 89.099 million, which was 2.7 times up year-on-year. Its total profit in the period was UAH 63.038 million, against a total loss of UAH 2.344 million last year.

Amstor Ltd., created in 2002, performs investment activity, purchases land plots, finances the construction of trade centers (super- and hypermarkets), and purchases and maintains equipment.
