Kyiv, July 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The chief audit department has established after checks that the unprofitable activities of State Land Cadastre Center state company in 2007-2008 and in January to March 2008 were due to the unprofessional actions of the former leadership of the company, reads a press release of the state committee for land resources. The report says that the State Land Cadastre Center in 2007 saw UAH 2.1 million in losses, in 2008 – UAH 100,000 in losses and in Q1, 2009 – UAH 1.3 million in losses. The reason for the unprofitable activities were unfavorable agreements with various entities signed by the previous leadership, the audit department said. In addition, evidence was dicovered of sibling connections between officials of the regional branches of the centers and commercial structures engaged in land evaluation and land surveyor work. The branches fulfilled only from 4% to 35% of this work over the above-mentioned periods. The press release says that checks' results were submitted to the law-enforcement bodies. From March 2008 to January 2009, Valentyn Savitsky was the head of the center, and from January to April 2009 Ihor Dolinsky was the acting director of the center. Petro Andreev has been the director general of the center since April 2009. | |
